My lander was a complete success. It landed upright, it landed in the box, and it didn't break the egg. The box is about 13inx13inx4in. If i had to change anything it would be NOTHING! If I could give a suggestion to someone who was doing this it would be to get a good cushion for the egg.
Our lander uses a parachute to slow it down and also uses cotton balls to cushion the fall. we taped the flaps so that they wont push on the egg. the unit rate is 0.11667sec/1ft. with the extra height from the roof the parachute will have a greater effect in slowing it down.
